Recently, XCMG XGC28000 (2000 ton) crawler crane completed the assembly of the “Guoneng Gongxiang” wind turbine in Fuzhou. It’s the world’s first floating wind fishing integration project.
The floating wind fishing integration project is the world’s first far-reaching integrated design project for offshore floating wind power and aquaculture. And it is a major science and technology special project in Fujian Province. The platform mainly consists of a “floating wind turbine+breeding cage”. It including a floating platform, a 4MW wind turbine, a mooring and anchoring system. For XCMG XGC28000, it is the installation task of a 4MW wind turbine in this project.
The width of the ship where the fan is to be installed is large. Therefore, the lifting equipment needs to stand at the dock for lifting operations. This construction scenario requires the crawler crane to still have super high lifting height and lifting capacity under a large operating radius.
The XCMG XGC28000 crawler crane has a maximum rated lifting capacity of 2000 tons. In this construction, XCMG XGC28000 adopts a super lifting 126m main boom. And it first completes the splicing of two tower barrels with weights of 226t and 102t. Complete the assembly of the engine room weighing 193 tons with a working radius of 42 meters. Subsequently, Then it lifted three blades in succession, and accurately installed them with the wheel hub at an altitude of 100 meters.
