IMT AF280 Idler GP for Drill shaft
IMT AF280 if one of the common models of IMT brands rotary drill shaft. Its undercarriage parts include track shoe, track chain, track roller, top roller, sprocket, idler and so on parts.
Each undercarriage parts plays different role:
- Track shoe: Support the whole drill shaft body and increase the contact area between the machine and the ground.
- Track roller: Plays a supporting role and located between the lower surface of the beam of the chassis and the crawler track. It varies according to the tonnage of the piling rig. Usually there are 5-10 per side.
- Top roller: The role of holding up the crawler track varies according to the tonnage of the rotary piling rig. Usually there are 1-2 on one side.
- Idler: It plays the role of guiding the crawler track and is located at the end opposite to the driving force. Usually there are 2 per rotary drill shaft.
