Production of the Bauer BG45 carrier roller
- Forging. Heat the steel to a high temperature and then forge it into the shape of a half roller shell of the top roller through a die.
- Rough machining. Subject the forged half roller shell to preliminary machining, such as turning the outer surface, milling the inner hole, and inner length.
- Heat treatment. Subject to heat treatment such as quenching and tempering to improve its hardness, strength, and wear resistance.
- Finishing. Subject the heat-treated half roller shell to precise machining, such as grinding the inner hole and sealing groove to ensure dimensional accuracy and fit quality.
- Welding. Weld the two half roller shells together to form a complete roller body.
- Assembly. Assemble the welded roller body with other components to form a complete carrier roller.
- Quality inspection. Subject to comprehensive quality inspection, including size, hardness, surface roughness, etc., to ensure that the track roller meets the standards.
- Painting and packing. Paint the top rollers into the required colour and then pack them for shipment.
