Soilmec R16 Front Idler for Piling Machine
The main cause of damage to the front idler is poor lubrication of the front idler shaft. The main reasons are as follows:
- The bi-metal sleeve sliding bearing of the front idlerhas an out-of-tolerance misalignment, which causes vibration and impact when running on the crawler track.
- The surface roughness of the guide wheel shaft is extremely poor.
- There are defects in the original structure.
- The lubricating oil in the gap between the front idlershaft and the shaft sleeve cannot take away the heat generated by the bearing operation because there is no oil passage.
