Production of the Bauer BG45 sprocket
- Pig iron smelting. Melt raw material into liquid iron at high temperature.
- Sand casting.Making mold – Box mold – Combining box – Pouring – Sand dropping.
- Heat treatment. Quenching, heat the casting to a certain temperature and then cool it quickly to improve hardness and strength. Tempering, heat the quenched casting to a lower temperature again and keep it warm for a period of time to eliminate quenching stress and improve toughness.
- Rough machining and finished machining are used to achieve the required size and accuracy.
- Quality inspection. Inspect the size, hardness, metallographic structure, and other items of the processed drive wheel to ensure that the product quality meets the requirements.
- Paint and packing.
