Function of the Bauer GB34 sprocket
- Power transmission. It is the bridge for power to be transmitted from the engine to the crawler track, and is the core component of the drilling rig’s walking mechanism.
- Crawler drive. Drives the crawler track by rotating, allowing the drilling rig to move forward, backward, or turn.
- Support and guide. It works with the guide wheel, carrier roller, etc., to support the weight of the rig machine and guide the movement direction of the crawler track.
- Keep tension. Work together with the guide wheel to keep the crawler track at a certain tension to prevent it from falling off.
- Buffering impact. Buffer the impact of the road and reduce the vibration of the fuselage.
