Structure of the track roller
- Roller body, shaft, bushing, roller cap, floating oil seal, etc.
Production of the Bauer BG46 track roller
- Forging of blanks. Heat the billet to a high temperature, and then form it into the preliminary shape of the roller by forging.
- Rough processing. Turn, mill the forged blank to remove excess metal so that it basically meets the design size and shape.
- Heat treatment. Subject to heat treatment such as quenching and tempering to improve its hardness, strength, and wear resistance.
- Finely process the roller surface, such as grinding and honing, to achieve higher dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Weld together components of each part, such as roller body, shaft, and bushing.
- Install all parts together to finally complete the assembly of the roller.
- Quality inspection. Subject to comprehensive quality inspection, including size, hardness, surface roughness, etc., to ensure that the track roller meets the standards.
